![]() ![]() Its a fantasy world thats always raining. EG, if you own all the D3 content right now then the Prime Evil upgrade (including D2r and some D3 cosmetics) only changes from $50 down to $40. And its true, Diablo 4 does feel darker, not in a literal lighting sense, but in a moodier sense. IDK how much you'd save on future bundle sales by owning parts, but it's usually pretty small. The console versions are really good and, because they feature offline support, are free of some of the horrendous lag the PC versions are suffering from right now. And on XBox, you can buy the Eternal Edition disc new off of Amazon for ~$20. Ive sunk more hours into this game over the years than ANY other game I have consistently playing since it came out in 2000. ![]() Diablo 2 is well worth 10 (20 with expansion). I dont want to buy physical battle chest. If you're on Playstation, you can buy the Prime Evil bundle (D3 + D2r + all DLC for each + extra cosmetics) for $20 for the next couple of weeks. So Im looking to buy Diablo 2 + LOD expansion. Buy the $30 Battle Chest (D3 + RoS) or the $40 Eternal Edition (D3+ RoS+ Necro). If you have to have it right now, buy at least the game+expansion and wait on the necro (which genuinely is optional). And it affects you even while playing through the base game, which only lasts a few hours anyway. ALL the end-game content and features are gated by the RoS expansion. definitely worth it d2 will have a definite learning curve especially AFTER having played d3. ![]()
